They weren't the brightest bunch!

He was about to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed, for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened. Mark 6:48-52

As Jesus was on shore he see these guys on the boat and starts to walk out there? The last part of vs. 48 says He was about to pass by them??? COme on I know that the "storm" was crazy but you don't see a man walking on the lake? I know that this is like my walk and Jesus is walking right in front of me during the storms but I choose not to see him until it's almost too late? SO many questions!

I want to be a follower of Christ that see's Him at all times. I know that I don't praise Him enough while I am in the good times and I'm always crying to Him when I'm having a bad day. Just preparing for Mexico and getting my brain in order...I think about the kids that we are going to be serving and my bad days are not bad days! I want to see Jesus every day of my life and not get distracted by understanding the past but looking in front of me and seeing what He has for me!

God make me the man you want me to be. Let me push aside everything that is distracting me and focus on you and you only! You are constantly good to me, let me do the same for you!
